AgentMail is an email service designed specifically for AI agents. It provides AI agents with dedicated email addresses and the ability to read, compose, and send emails autonomously. Unlike connecting a personal email account, AgentMail gives agents their own email identity with proper deliverability and security. It is one of the key integrations that enables OpenClaw agents to handle email-based business workflows.
How It Works
AgentMail provides an API that OpenClaw agents use to manage email. The agent gets its own email address (or connects to an existing one). When emails arrive, AgentMail notifies the agent, which reads the content, processes it using its AI model and Soul.md instructions, and composes a response. Outgoing emails are sent through AgentMail's infrastructure with proper SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication, ensuring high deliverability.
